I’m sure some of you are curious as to how the Marylhurst interview went yesterday. It went really well. Although nothing is official until I get my acceptance letter, the professor that I have been working with and, turns out, will be my advisor said to me as she was handing me the course schedule, “next time we meet we will go over all of this, oh wait, I’m not supposed to say that, if you are accepted, the next time we meet we will go over all of this.” She also told me not to stress out over the next couple of days until I get my letter. I am hoping that I will get the letter tomorrow.
Nothing terribly new on the job front, other than Kaiser has finally called me back about one of the positions I applied for. I’m playing phone tag right now with the recruiter, but am ecstatic at the potential. It’s next to impossible to even get a bite when you apply. As one Kaiser employee friend of mine told me, “It’s all about who you know!”
SO my diligent finger-crossing, good thoughts friends of mine, keep it up for Marylhurst AND Kaiser.
