Never before have the lyrics of a song so completely reflected my thoughts, but Alanis Morissette’s new album has a few songs that have really touched on where I am right now. I wanted to share this one. I might share one or two more later.

Threads sewn straight through this fabric through
fields of every color one culture to another

And I come alive and I get giddy and I am taken

these ideals are born from my deepest within
